Tranquility Acoustronics (HK) Limited founded by Professor Zhiyu Yang has the world's leading and unique core technology of acoustic metamaterials.
Metamaterials use structural design to achieve functional leaps and significantly reduce the dependence on material types and properties. They are an important branch of advanced materials. The field of local resonance acoustic metamaterials was pioneered by Professor Yang Zhiyu and his two colleagues in the Department of Physics of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
